  • Interactive Selection are short-listed as Best Service Provider: Recruitment in 2013 TIGA Awards.

tiga-games-awards-2013TIGA’s Games Industry Awards 2013 focus on the best games in the industry over the last 12 months and also highlight best practice and reward those in the industry contributing to its long-term innovation. Interactive Selection is proud to have been short-listed as Best Service Provider: Recruitment. We believe that Interactive Selection should win the first ever TIGA award for Best Recruitment Agency as it:

Commits to the highest standards of professional recruitment.

Interactive is a long standing member of the recruitment trade association, REC that commits members to high standards. Most games recruiters are not members. The REC won the Trade Association Forum award in 2012, which was won by TIGA in 2011 and 2010.

Provides free recruitment advice to all TIGA members

Interactive wrote in 2012 TIGA’s Best Practice Guide to Recruitment & Selection in the Games Industry. This document is the first of its kind produced by any games trade association anywhere in the world and adds real value to TIGA membership. We also work directly for many members.

Raises awareness of gender imbalance and diversity in games sector.

Interactive believes it is a making a difference for the benefit of the whole industry with the creation of Women In Games Jobs (WIGJ). WIGJ  is “not for profit” and works to recruit more women into the industry by promoting role models and giving encouragement and information to those women seeking to work in games.

Provides free job advertising for TIGA members.

Interactive’s Job Board, Games Job Board powers the job board for TIGA members on the TIGA website. This is free resource for TIGA members.

    Supported TIGA from day 1.

Interactive has been an affiliate member of TIGA for 13 years. Only 1 Recruitment Agency has committed to TIGA from day 1 and continues to do so.

The TIGA Games Industry Conference will take place during the day and the awards ceremony will take place in the evening, both on Wednesday 6 November 2013 at Heatherden Hall at Pinewood Studios. Wish us luck!
