    Business Background

    David was educated at the world renowned Rugby School and has a degree in Business Economics from Hull University in the UK. He is a Chartered Accountant who qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1983. After leaving his professional accountancy firm, Thomson McLintock & Co., in 1985, he worked in industry for Associated Newspapers, publisher of the Daily Mail national newspaper, and Safeway the international food retailer. For 8 years he worked at the UK’s number 1 food wholesaler, Booker Cash and Carry, managing the Commercial Accounting department giving commercial advice to the Board, Sales, Marketing, IT, Operations and Distribution departments of the company.

    Recruitment Career

     In 1996, David set up Interactive Selection, the world’s first recruitment agency in interactive entertainment that abandoned the practice of advertising jobs in the trade press, preferring to have its reputation spread by well satisfied clients through word of mouth.  Over the last 12 years he has built Interactive Selection into one of the world’s leading agencies providing global resource solutions and supplying staff to developers worldwide, working in the USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, China as well as most countries in Europe.
